Alexandra Thurmond is a film director and creative director based in Los Angeles. Collaborating with artists and brands to bring stories to life, she works across genres and mediums to create visceral, multi-faceted worlds for her subjects to inhabit. Her work has been recognized by the Webby Awards and Tribeca X, and featured in Pitchfork, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Billboard.
Alex spent the last five years at Yours Truly Creative, creating films, podcasts, and 360° campaigns for clients including Adidas, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Fender, and more. From chronicling the artist Mustafa’s heartfelt songs of mourning for YouTube’s Artist on the Rise, to leading creative direction for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs album When the Lights Go, she approaches each project with a unique lens.
